Overview
Loyola offers students the opportunity to study in lovely Leuven, Belgium for the fall only, spring only, or the full year. The fall and spring program are limited to 15 students and priority will be given to students whose majors are not available for the year at KU Leuven. Course offerings in the fall only option are limited due to final examinations schedules at KU Leuven. All student must have enough course options to counter any onsite registration problems, like time conflicts or course cancellations. These majors may be able to take core and electives while abroad: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Statistics, Physics, Speech Pathology/Audiology, Writing, Elementary Education, Accounting, Finance, and Information Systems.
Students with the above majors should meet with their major advisor(s) to discuss potential courses offered on this program, and review what major classes should be taken prior to and upon return from abroad. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure this program fits into their degree program, and that he/she can graduate on time.
