Program Description:
Dates: May 19 – June 5
  • Instructor: Mary Kate Schneider
  • Course options: PS 333/HS 262, “History and Politics of the Balkans”
  • Eligibility/Pre-Requisites: No prerequisites for PS 333. HS 262 requires HS 100.  Counts toward Global Studies major (Topic 2 or 3 or HS analytical), Peace and Justice minor, and/or HS 200-level core (if taken as HS 262).
  • Cost: $4,250 (airfare not included).
  • Cost Includes : all ground transportation, 16 nights’ accommodations, excursions, activities, guest speakers, and some meals.
  • Max number of students: 13
  • Locations this trip visits: Bosnia-Herzegovina (Sarajevo, Srebrenica, Mostar, Konjic, Kravica waterfalls); Serbia (Belgrade); Croatia (Vukovar), the Adriatic Coast.
